Tried Actos and BS levels were good but had too many side effects from the drug.( I feel so much better since I have been off of it.) I tried glipizide and my feet swelled and it didn't control BS too many ups and downs.I am taking Glucophage 1000 mg twice aday. Low carb diet and walking on a treadmill 35 min. aday. My BS have been no higher than 135 > I am going to my Doc next week to see what he thinks. I would like to try Glucophage 850 3 x aday instead. My last AC1 was 6.2 which was way down. The only time BS level was high was in the morning sometimes.. Did the protein and fat snack and came down to normal in the morning. This really does work.

This really does work.
Good for you, although I considered 135 really high when I was able to low-carb it.

Congratulations. Sounds like you have a handle on the DP with the bedtime snack. That should help drive down the a1c further. The max bg of 135 is great and it sounds like your heading for a 5 something for your next a1c.

That's fabulous! Great work. I really need to get some exercise, too. I am now in my mid-thirties, but I think my Mom could race me up a hill. :embarasse
