Is it just me or are quick bg drops effin scary? Today I dropped from 283 to 106 in the course of just 32 minutes (my breakfast shot hadn't fully finished yet, and the CF over laped it). I didn't drop any further down, just drank a tad bit of juice and it went up to 120 within 13 min, but man it just feels like impending doom for a good hour of when it starts, to when everything "catches up". It feels very comparable to a quick hypo black out. I find it interesting that some diabetics it would hardly effect, or they would just be 'aware of it', but for others it's quite the opposite.

Brion is anything else going on right now, a cold or allergies? I ask because I have had the same problem the last week and a half. I think mine is due to the antibiotics I am taking. I was waking a little high 120 to 170, would take my medications and the antibiotic. Soon I would start having that "going low" feeling, which just kept getting worse. By the time I checked, I would be 60 or 70, and drop to as low as 50. This would be after having my normal breakfast. I have been staying low all day, then need to take another amtibiotic in the evening. I am just testing more, breaking my meals up into even smaller ones, and having a couple extra snacks. One more day of this, and then I should know if I am right about the cause.

Not feeling sick, and hope I am not! I believe it was just a miscalc. Swooshing down like that, even though I didn't go low, sure felt awful. Thanks.

mine does that too. the other day i was walking over to the quik mart to get a slushie to get my sugars up. (i know, good excuse to get a slushie) but anyways... it got really low, starting seeing white spots and then when i got there the machine was broke! walked back home, (which is onl 100 feet away) and my bg dropped to 52. it sucked...
