I'm looking for a case to carry my supplies around in. (Pens, monitor, the usual)
On www.diabetesshop.ca they have DiaPaks (one week and two week) carrying cases. Does anyone use these, and are they good quality, etc?
I'm also going to get some Frios for my pens, so they can stay cool while i'm out golfing or playing baseball.......

+ Gangrel,
My carry case came from Walmart, it cost $9.99. It Has two sections, one with slots and a cooling pac for insulin vials and a thingy that tells you the temperature. There are all kinds of pockets to carry extras. If there was one thing I didn't like about it, it is that it has no designated slots for pens. I keep mine in one of the zippered parts. So far it has been great for short or overnight trips, even has room for my other medications.

I have a Dia Pak deluxe. I love using it especially since I started using the symlin. It is so easy just to carry my insulin, syringes, and all the little stuff, plus infusion sets and other pumping supplies, all in the same thing, and have it be small enough that I can keep it with me if needed. They are a little more expensive than something like Penny mentioned, and both work well, so I say go with the less expensive option. You'll love having it though.

I use a Dia Pak Deluxe too. I've used it when I was pens only, pens and syringes, now just my "pump failure" vial and syringes. Plus my meter, glucose tabs, a Clif Shot, lancer, lancets, alcohol wipes, pump battery, quart of oil, lunch...not really on the oil and lunch...but it does hold all that and a small blue ice pack. Keeps things just the right temp, I feel, most of the time. It lasts in the car if I forget for 3 or 4 hours during hot days.

Dia packs are great. I used to carry mine everywhere, now I just carry all this in my pocket:

When I was on pens/injections I used the DiaPak Deluxe. It held everything I needed - meter, test strips, lancet device, pens/syringes/pen needles, extra cartridges or insulin vials, Band Aids, alcohol swabs, a pen and probably other stuff as well. The only thing I disliked was that I had to open it up & lay it flat just to get my meter out. My meter (One Touch Profile at the time) would also sometimes turn on in the bag, if something pressed against the buttons.
When I started pumping I knew the DiaPak wouldn't work for me. Since it's soft, it offered no protection to infusion sets, which are packaged in fairly flimsy plastic. I bought another bag, also soft but sturdier and didn't unfold like a Diapak, made by Frio. I really didn't care for it at all, it took up a lot of room and was ugly.
Now I use a small plastic food/sandwich storage container, 6.75" x 5" x 2.25". It holds 2 infusion sets, a reservoir, AAA batteries (for pump + UltraSmart meter), several syringes, up to 4 vials of test strips, my current vial of Humalog, alcohol + IV Prep wipes, Band Aids and a tube of antibiotic ointment. Very compact, the stuff doesn't get crushed. My UltraSmart meter + lancing device are in the UltraSmart case which I just toss in my bag. I have a small Frio pouch, meant for a pump, that I keep my current vial of Humalog in when it's really hot or if I'm going to be outside all day in the sun.
If I was still on pens/injections I'd definitely still be using the DiaPak, though.

Well let me add my "me too". I love my diapack deluxe. It holds everything I need, and somethings I don't. Plus you can put the ice packs in it to keep everything cool! Mine is 18 months old, and it still looks new!
