What types of insulins do you currently use?

I didn't add it, but I voted Novolog, as that's what I'm now on.....and to think, had I waited just one more year (with bad bgs :eek: lol), I would have gotten a 25 year award (for being on Lilly's insulins only)....:rolleyes:

Ok, I'm currently using Novolog in my pump. Prior to that, it was Humalog.... can't say I notice any significant difference :dontknow:

I am the same way. The only significant difference to me is I get Novolog for a $5 co pay, and Humalog for a $10 co pay.

Prior to that I was on that great 70/30 **** from Humalog. I also use to use Lantus/Humalog prior to pumping

I use Humalog in my pump. Before that I used Humalog pens and Lilly's Humulin NPH. Before that it was Humulin NPH + Regular. When I was on N+R with no insurance I would sometimes buy the Novo N+R because it was cheaper, but I found it to be somewhat stronger than the Lilly insulins and didn't always remember to cut back my dose. Of course, being on NPH + Regular was awful anyway so switching insulins back & forth probably wasn't a good idea. When I got insurance I stuck with Lilly since that was what I used most often.

FYI: Novolin/Humulin U(UltraLente) and Novolin/Humlin L(Lente) are no longer manufactured or sold anywhere in the world.
