Endo appointment 2day

I had my Dr Kapros(endo)appointment today.

My A1C in March was 5.6 and it was 5.6 today.
My blood sugar was 124 today at 1:30pm.
Blood pressure was 122/58 and previous 130/70.

Labs:
Total Cholesterol 150
LDL 82
HDL 56
Triglycerides 58
ALT 90 AST 67 ( Liver functions are screwy)

Notes:
Blood Pressure is awesome.
Cholsterol is excellent.
diet/weight lost 3lbs.
Liver test are up again stop zetia for 6 weeks to do blood work to see if that’s what effecting it.

Just nosy question on my part, but my AST when whacky when on Crestor (one of the regularly prescribed statins). I switched to Pravachol, which I was told was formulated much different than regular statins. My CDE said she regularly switches patients from normal statins to Pravachol when liver functions go awry...

I asked about Zetia, but was told it didn't have enough beneficial qualities to be the sole med to take for cholesterol. It needed to be taken in conjunction with a standard statin.

Do you have any experience with this? I'm new to statins and trying to learn all I can.

I have no idea what your asking me. I know we had this problem once before and I retested and everything was normal.
