Any order their meds online through Medco?

I get all my medicines from Medco. They do a great job as far as I am concerned. I did not get my ordered blood pressure pills when I shouls have and called them, they overnighted the pills, without charging me. I get 9 different pills, and 2 insulins and 2 different kinds of needles without any problem.

My company's prescription plan is administered through them.

I suspect there's a flat fee involved so that basically they try REALLY HARD to minimize their cost of providing me my scrips.
I once ran out of Humalog when I didn't have easy access to the right pharmacy and didn't want to go through a bunch of grief, so I bought (out of pocket) some Humulin. Because of this week-and-a-half with no Humalog, they decided I could make it with only two bottles a month. They refused to provide me any more than two bottles a month.

Finally I had to switch to 23" tubings and do some other tricks to make my insulin last out the month.

I have since switched to Novalog and gotten a better pump that seems to require less insulin than my old MM507.That said, if I run out of insulin before the month is up, I'll be contacting my HR rep to see what our insurance people can do to beat up on them about it.

This of course was more likely due to how my company set up the plan. Probably NOT their general practice.

I get my insulin through a local pharmacy. I'm not crazy about mail-ordering insulin, my NPA agrees. They may just be doing this out of spite because it's more costly to them than me mail-ordering through them.

If we decide to do mail order we do ours through Medco. I did for a while do my insulin and other medicaiton. However it is cheaper in the long run to use mail order, I perfer going and getting my insulin from the drug store each month. I had no problems with them when I was using them, I just would rather go get my insulin.

My insurance Co. does not give me the option of picking it up myself. I can if I want to pay for it myself. I order my insulin, and almost always get it shipped out the next day.

Well, I live in southern Nevada. It is not at all unusual for it to get up to 110 in the afternoon during summer. Even if they ship it some kind of icepack I'd worry about it sitting in a non-AC'd truck half the day (where it could get up to 140ish easily) and then maybe sitting overnight in my apt. complex's office.
