Does anyone have any inside knowledge into when the lantus pen will be available in Canada. Or is there any way of finding out from a pharmaceutical company when it will be here.
Just wondering!!

I just got an opticlik lantus pen, so now I have both novo and lantus pens. I had to get my novopen from a pharmacy in Canada, maybe you can order an opticlik from a pharmacy here? My pharmacy mainly deals with my HMO exclusivy here in California(Kaiser Permenente). The OptiClik can probably be ordered over the counter, but the cartridges I am sure will require a prescription from your doctor, which should work here in the US.

When I attended a recent Diabetes Expo I asked the Lantus people. Seems the Lantus Pen is in the process of being approved by Health Canada and they hope to have it available by Christmas this year. Hope this helps :)
