Kidney pain- diabetic related??

Hi,

I am a little concerned, I have had kidney pain for 6 mths and my old doctors didnt do anything except kidney profile- I have lost a little function, but I knew that!

At a new doctors, and having.. ultrasound for the pain, I hope something shows... I am doubting myself now!

Anyone else had this??

I've had a couple docs tell me now that if there were an issue, most likely there would be no pain or any other feeling from the kidneys, which is part of why it is so dangerous (no obvious warning signs). So likely it is something else. I hope the ultra sound lets you know something. Keep us posted.

Ultrasound came back CLEAR :mad:

I am so shocked, I have had this pain for 6 mths, now will need to rule out Gastro and Gynae :bawling:

What kind of pain is it? You seem to be getting good news, right? Except for the continuing pain, obviously...

Its sharp and stabbing; left sided flank pain...

Started after severe kidney infection...

I am pleased, but now worrying what it could be...
