Hi Guys,

I was diagnosed T2 in May and haven't looked back since.
I'm all man and 37 years old. I live with my family on a tiny island called the Isle of Man - its 33 x 16 miles and I'm one of 70,000 people that live here. Its lovely in the summertime but **** in the winter !!!

Since diagnosis, out has gone all the rubbish that I ate and I now choose to eat healthily. I've lost 15lbs that I didn't need to lose and find that my levels appear to have gone back down to normal again.

I'm cured !!!

I'm sure I'll get along fine with everyone and will ask questions from time to time. I'll even advise you of my "experiments" too !!!

Congrats on losing the weight and pretty much curing yourself. Truely, you're never cured. Hmmmmm, I'd be interested in hearing more about where you live. Welcome to the site and I hope to see you around alot.

Hello and Welcome. Well, I couldn't find you on the globe(you were
probably that little pink dot, being that the area is only 33 x 16 miles :D)
so I looked you up also. Seems like a lovely island(okay except in the
wintertime). Were you born there or did you migrate? Interesting site.

Wow, I didn't know a person could be "cured" of Diabetes just by losing
15 lbs. Thanks for the heads up. ;) Good to hear that you are eating healthier
and your sugar levels are good. Way to go. Ask anything you want
and hope to see you posting often. :wavey:

Hello and welcome to this wonderful forum! :)

It's great you're feeling better after losing weight and that your sugars are within a more reasonable range. Some T2s can go years diet controlled only.

The very best to you,

Is the Isle of Man where they have those giant head statues?
