Well yesterday I finally broke 240 and am into the 230's! Been dieting about 6 weeks and started at 248. While I know I could go faster, I'm not concerned about the rate. Concentrating more on the lifestyle change thingy.

I'll say my food intake is muchly changed for the better, and I have no more hunger pangs. Next step is to pick up the exercise a bit more. Started walking every lunch hour last week and will start mixing in regular weight training and some exercycling.

Steady as she goes! Will check back in at 229.9!:ridinghor

There may be setbacks, if they happen, try to keep focused and get back on the wagon everytime you fall off. Don't be disappointed by these as long as you continue to try. "2 steps forward, 1 step back" is still making progress.

Congratulations on the weight loss! Slow & steady is the best way to lose it. My brother-in-law was dx'd back in the fall. He weighed 252 at the time and has lost 36lbs so far. He has 16 more pounds to go to get down to 200.
