Thought I might ask for some help.
Lately, about 20-25 minutes after I inject and eat, a monster headache comes to visit and generally stays for 30-45 minutes.
My BG is normally in the 80/4.4--90/5 range before I eat and at the 2 hour check it returns back to that range. So, I'm doing a good job of covering my carbs.
Thanks for any suggestions or advice.

I can get a Headache when my BG levels changes a lot over short period of time. So I suggest you test our BG 30 min and 1 hour after meal, sometimes, just to check what is going on. After two hours BG should in most cases be back to normal. But if BG is either to high or to low after one hour, this can be the cause of your headache. In that case you probably have to adjust your diet. I might also be that you are slightly allergic to some of the food you eat.

I wondered about that but wasn't smart enough to think of that plan. Thanks pacon
I might also be that you are slightly allergic to some of the food you eat. more likely, allergic to insulin:D ;)
I haven't changed my diet since diagnosed, except the donuts, pie, cake, cookies, candy are now completely gone---that's it I need to put some of that "food group" back in my diet :D --
but that is something I have to look at since I know that our individual reactions to food are in a constant state of flux
given me a lot to consider------again, thank you pacon

Collette~ 70 mg/dl - 110 mg/dl is considered the normal bg range prior to eating and two hours after eating.
Personally, I start to get a bit cranky when I get in the low 80's, upper 70's these days, so 70 mg/dl seems a bit low to me as well.

My son has been complaining of headaches alot. It is always when his BG is in the normal range (90-120). A couple of aspirin usually take care of it, but I don't know what is causing them. (Yes, I know, you are not supposed to give kids aspirin, but I grew up with it and it never hurt me any).

Hey folks, keep in mind that headaches can be caused by other things also.....hormonal imbalances, stress, fatigue, eye problems........anything like this should be mentioned to your primary care phyisian.
Hugs and Take care all
