Low carbing is the way to go consuming more compex fats for fuel and limiting my carb intake is the ticket for using less insulin and maybe living longer.

What do you mean by compex fats? Complex? I don't know what complex fats would be either, unless perhaps it is all the fats constructed of the fatty acids, but excluding fatty acids themselves. ???

And I honestly don't know what the definition of low carbing is, despite all the interest in it in recent years in both diabetic and non-diabetic communities. However, I do know that for me, limiting quickly digested, quickly released to the blood stream carbohydrates helps maintain a good A1C report.

That's good that you found something that works for you. It's
everyone's duty(certainly as a Diabetic) to find what regimen suits
them Best. How much Insulin do you use? Oh, you're on the pump.
I hear almost everyone on the pump uses less Insulin automatically.
What's compex fats?

I eat 4 or 5 small portion meals a day(keeps my sugars better
balanced) and I usually don't eat desserts since I haven't been
much into desserts for yrs. so that's not a problem.

It's not just a rumour: Eat less food, take less Insulin. Eat less
food, gain less weight. Less weght, usually means taking less Insulin.
Glad that you found your key. ;)
