i have been using the opticlik pen for lantus but as someone said on the forum, the pen is like a small dildo

to add the catridge to the pen is difficult and holding the pen to inject is like using a screwdriver.

i also use the humalog pen which is so easy to use and smaller compared to the opticlik.

I was wondering if the opticlik comes like the prepackaged humalog pen from eli lily
or because of the patents aventis cannot make the opticlik like the humalog pen ?

I do not find the Opti Click pen in any way as you describe. It's easy to load. (Follow the instructions.) Easy to dial your dose. Easy to hold. Easy to inject. (Use two hands.)

It is much smaller than that model of which you compare it... At least the sample I have.:flute:

The only worry I have is when the batterry gives out. Even then, one click, one unit.

The pen needs to be replaced once the battery goes out.
