Hopefully I will be on a pump soon. (please insurance co ok me)

I know that the tape requires clean skin to attatch to but what are hairy guys like myself to do?
Do you constantly shave the area you plan to attatch the tape to or is there a better way where the hair doesnt come back as quickly or at all?

I currently shave my stomach area and legs for my current MDI treatment (I like a clean injection site) but I notice the hair growing back stubble within 2-3 days.

Shave it. You live in an age where being a Metrosexual is okay, so I say shave it all, man! Be freeeeeeeeee!

But is there a beter way then shaving with a razor?

For those who didn't know like me.
Metrosexuality: The trait of an urban male of any sexual orientation who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great amount of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle.

Veet for men. There's also Nair for men.

I will have to try either Veet for men or Nair for men.

Ask for a bikini wax, it will give you a new outlook on life. :star:

You will have to choose between a landing strip or taco. :ahhhhh:

All kidding aside, pulling out the roots is the best bet. Heard real men use duct tape.

I have seen Dewey do this to her eye brows. Pluck them out.

I'd have to agree, plucking each individual hair out seems the least painful way to go. :D

Been taking the Electric Norelco Razer to mine. Could always burn them off but that would be dangerous.

My insulin smells like a box of Bandaides.

I've used both(not the one for Men of course), it did burn if
I left it on too long.

I will have to try either Veet for men or Nair for men.

The Mens would be stronger since Men have thicker hair, if it does
burn you perhaps you could try the one for Women, it may be easier
on your skin. Some People do have sensitve skin. Or try the Veet first.

I just shave. I tried Nair but it stinks too much and takes too much time. Plus it seems too "girly". <g>

I'm pretty hairy myself and I don't bother with shaving the site. I insert through the forest that is the side of my belly and then when I'm done with the site, simply wrip it off, hair and all.

You bunch of MetroSexuals and your smooth svelt little frames. Just makes me giddy! LMAO

Geez, for a woman who absolutely loves very, very, very hairy men, this thread is a real downer.

:bawling:

PS: I wonder what women with hairy on their stomachs do?

Would you be in the minority, Pam? I've no idea how many women like guys with hair shirts (Robin Williams comes to mind).

I have hair on my belly, nothing too wild. I just put in my sets and they stick just fine. I never really considered removing hair from my belly...seems like it would cause more problems unless that hair situation was actually getting in the way.

I say lets vote on how he removes the hair. I vote for rzr's way.

Don't worry, Pam. There are still plenty of us out there that are as cuddly as a Teddy Bear! ;)

I know many women who absolutely love hairy men, but also have spoken to women who despise it. Most say "eww, back hair" when I say "yum, back hair"!!

Robin Williams is pretty furry but it's short fur on his chest and stomach. No fur is bad fur, however!

I have done the torch method to my eyebrows by accident back when I was in vocational school taking autobody repair class.
Its something I would rather not do again.
