Well had my blood tests today, and had to have them done in the Renal Dept....

My urine is not good, and my body doesnt know what stuff to shirt out..

:bath: I am so scared, the Renal Nurse said there is a chance its very serious...

All I want to do is; not take my insulin, so I can be sorted now!

I have to wait til next Weds for full results...

Sorry to hear you have to wait a whole week for results; that's very stressful when the test results are so important. Keep us posted and I'm hoping the results are good.

Do you have any numbers for the tests that I pointed you to in your other thread? If anything at least try to find your Creatinine and BUN blood levels, and your protien, and creatinine / protien ratio in your urine. Is your urine foamy when it comes out? Has the dr suggested what he thinks is going on? Is it from diabetes? An infection? Why would you have to wait another week? Demand these tests get done stat.

just remember, if your urine is concentrated, some of the numbers may be artificially high. If it was the first urine of the day, chances are, the specific gravity was concentrated. Keep us informed.

Definately be strong and hang in there. Don't stop taking your insulin, you could make things worse. Good luck and keep us updated...

I am so sad to hear of anyone having kidney problems because of diabetes. But hang in there and stay strong, at least it was discovered early. My mom who gave me love, the ultimate friendship & unfortunately diabetes died because her kidney problem was identified to late. You are most definitely in my prays.
