Hello!

New to the community. Type one diabetic since 18 months old. I think I was diagnosed in September...so it's coming up on 18 years soon. Uhhhhhhh...lesse. I'm on the pump (I love it). And yeah. Woo.

Welcome aboard, fellow MM pumper!! I made it until age 31 before my diagnosis was made. I suspect I was DM for years prior. I can't imagine how difficult it would be for a small child with DM. And even worse, to have been a DM child before good pumps and meters were available. When I started out in '78 all I had was urine strips, which were next to useless.

Have you had any complications?
