I do have some good news to share with someone! I started the 10mcg Byetta pen on the 4th of this month. The last three days I've had these readings below. I have had the upset stomach, but only got sick once. My A1C's have been in the 8.0's the past year, hopefully when I go back to the Dr it will be down as well.

That's the best I've had in years! I'am trying to watch what I eat now, and I'm on a few other meds for this as well. Metaformin, Avandia, Glipzide. I hope I can possibly drop some pounds and drop a med or two and maybe save a bit of money. This disease is very exspensive to me. I have insurance but even with the co-pay the meds that aren't generic cost alot and the testing supplies are very exspensive. I'm sure everyone of you know that as well.
