Ok, I just thought of something, people who wear a pump... how do you wear it at night? rolling around and that....

and in all seriousness... doesn't it get in the way of sex?

I use the 43" tubing and I keep it up under the edge of my pillow. I toss and turn a fair bit and never had one get pulled out yet (only 1.5 years pumping).

And on the subject of "nocturnal activities", I don't have a problem as I disconnect, "cuddle", re-connect. I try not to stay disconnected for more than 1.5 hours without checking.

Good luck and HAVE FUN!

I clip mine to the waist band of the PJ bottoms or if not wearing them just throw it in the bed....I have been pumping for 9 years and no problems yet

As for the other....I disconnect and leave it on the bathroom counter next to my meter....

I use the 43" tubing and just drag my pump around the bed with me. Occasionally, I'll have to re-collect it from under my husband or the dog, but I've never pulled out a set.
As for "cuddling", I either leave it connected and out of the way (my husband is very patient with all my diabetic "nonsense"!) or disconnect and reconnect later.

My pump is almost always in my shirt pocket.

Shorts with pockets. It falls out every know and then when I roll from side to side, but it's easy enough to put back in the pocket (I must do it while completely asleep because I usually wake up and it's still in my pocket).

Pockets...gotta have them on any pants/shorts I buy. I'm not a fan of the belt clips because it leave the tubing too voulnerable (in my humble opinion).

Sometimes I rip/cut small holes on the insides of my pockets and run my tubing underneath my shorts/pants and then I never have any worries about even a little tubing sticking out.

.

I've been wearing pumps on a belt clip for 10 years and the tubing is only "vulnerable" if you don't stuff it inside your pants. it's really no problem, unless it's all hanging out and you walk too close to a doorknob. :)

I just avoid the whole issue by not sleeping and not having sex. Works for me. :dontknow:

Wow Girl you are Funny, Don't have the Sex or even what about bathing? LOL

I clip it in one of those free Leather cases they give with the Animas 1250 the clip really hold on tight to my boxers.

I have found the solution that I posted for duck (a little further into the attached thread; " sleeping with a cozmo Football..."), to be working very effectively for me, for sleep, or anything else pre or post sleep !! ;)

I use 43 inch tubing and just toss it next to me at night.
