No. I am not being dirty. I simply want to know whether or not you suck your finger after you test, or wipe the blood with a tissue or something!! I suck my finger, and was told that it was disgusting! Sheesh, its my blood!!

I used to use a Band Aid after every test but that gets expensive, and my skin was getting raw from ripping them off afterward. Now I use a piece of tissue/napkin/paper towel most of the time but if I'm not bleeding much I just lick it off.

I don't lick or suck. Now my wife............well that is anther topic.......I use a swab that is in my testing kit (A.K.A Man purse as my wife calls it) that I use every time I test. That way my fingers are clean for when I use the keyboard at work.

No... I don't suck it. Instead, I press it on the inside cuff of pants and shirts. :p (primarily pants but you know). I also press it against my fabric monitor case.

I'd imagine the inside cuffs of all my jeans are stained by this point :angel:

(In a pinch I also press the finger into my palm until the bleeding stops).

I take asprin, so I bleed quite a bit. A little too much blood for my taste, so I wipe it on a tissue if I can find it or on my cuffs as was mentioned above. Probably would be best to have tissue available... but who thinks that far ahead.

Nope, hold it against a folded napkin in the pocket of my little poker and strips bag. Cozmonitor is on the back of my pump.

Travelin light: I rubber band a napkin strip around the test strips bottle, slip my little poker under the rubber band and put it all in my pocket.

If I didn't have a Cozmo, I'd surely get that teentsy little One Touch!

Does anyone else notice a differenn the taste between different sugar levels?

I can tell at like 3 different levels. < 80, around 120 and 150+.

Also some meds make my blood taste different.
Of the recent ones I have been on, cipro and lisinopril come to mind.
