www.diabuddies.com
I'd like to formally invite everyone from the forums to Diabuddies.com. I hope there will never need to be a subscription fee, but if there is all members with 500+ posts as of this date on here, and those that are in the top 10 percentile of diagrid entries of diabuddies.com prior to the subscription fee will never, ever, be charged to use the site.
I can't wait to complete the vision of Diabuddies which ends with a cure. There is still a LOT of work to be done.
Tony is a true leader in this vision and can not thank him enough for letting Diabuddies.com have a place at the best Diabetes site on the web.

I checked out the site but haven't joined. My main question is this. When looking over the site, I saw that several members had viewable diagrids. Are all of the diagrids viewable by everyone? I'm not sure that I would want my numbers viewed by people other than those that I want to view them.

Ok back up!! sorry! Remember this is still relatively new and has some bugs.
Thanks for the replies!! I was shocked when I saw 14! sweet :)
You can mark your diagrid as private. No one, not even I, will see it. Medical privacy will never, ever be violated.
I am doing my best to prevent crashes, and today was actually the first one. I am not sure why yet.
Jay and Stu, the first post is more of a legal promise thing then anything. I am hoping I can do what Tony does and just have it free for users. But at somepoint I might need to invest more time and money into it to get to where we need to be. You two of course, for your time in helping me with it, will never be charged. I really don't ever want to charge any diabetic.

Stu,
Sorry; Uploading of data only works with the freestyle flash. I recognize this as a huge stop gap for people and am working as fast as I can to get the Lifescan meters working and the Dexcom.
There is a lot to be done. I am also working on a much better diagrid home page with better reporting.

If it helps any Brion, You don't need to worry about any BD brand meter.
How are you coming along with lifescans meters?

How much luck have you had with Lifescan so far? That's the biggest thing stopping me from using it. Testing 6-10 times a day would take me forever to enter results not to mention after 20 entries, I'd quit, lol. Heck, I'd be happy if you could get it to read the csv file that you can export out in the Lifescan software. That would be a good temporary solution so more can use it now.

I am glad I don't have to worry about BD meters :).
The Ultra, which to my knowledge is the most popular meter, is coming a long ok, and should handle all lifescan meters except the Ultrasmart. I am mainly working on the Ultrasmart right now however. I estimated the 15th of this month for lifescan meters and hoping I can keep that target date. I will eventually get all requested meters connected.
Kevin; I hear ya. Data entering can be a bit tedious.

Have you tried an Ultra 2? I heard with Dexcom that an Ultra 2 won't work with it for the same reason as the UltraSmart. But then again, the Dexcom came out before the Ultra 2 did, so they may not have been able to program the extra info that would be translated from the meter.

Oooo, what about uploading from the (Deltec Cozmo Insulin Pump) CozManager program eventually? I can provide all the specs you need!
... and I tried to install the EXE (from this page http://www.diabuddies.com/publish.htm) and it says the file can't be found.

Do you want me to delete your pic and you can try to ul a new one? There very well could be a bug here.

Kev, I haven't yet. I hope the ultra connects like the US or the ultra. If not, that meter might not be supported. If someone loves that meter though and needs it connected, I will get it up there. I wish Lifescan would just follow communication standards.
koblenz - I should hide that page, sorry. That page will eventually be where everyone can run the upload client so you won't have to ever leave the web and run another application to upload your meter data.
To connect your freestyle flash meter the instructions are here:

Also, tried to upload meter for grins, but no go. I could try uploading my Freestyle, but the info. on it's outdated, as I've not been using it lately.
