Hi! Obviously, I'm a diabetic, and have been one for over 3 years. Call me crazy, but I'm kind of glad it had happened; it inspired me to write and self-publish my own fantasy/horror book starring a diabetic character. I can honestly say I don't know any other diabetics, which is weird, since everyone else I know seems to. (Well, other than me.) I can't think of anything else to say, so I guess I'll end this post now before it becomes ridiculously long.

About not knowing any diabetics. I'm guessing if you ask 10 of your neighbors or other acquaintance outright, at least one or more will tell you they are indeed diabetic. I live in a court and here's the breakdown. Out of 5 houses in a row, 4 houses contained 5 diabetics at the same time. One has since died; one moved away. 3 of us remain. My house contains 2 DM's (my wife and I)
