Hi,I'm Bilye and I've been living with diabetes for the last 19 yrs.I'm 25,a proud wife of almost 8 yrs and a mother to a beautiful daughter who just turned 5.I'm in the process of changing from the same insulin I've been on for 19 yrs to Novolog and Lantus.All in the hopes of getting a pump in the near future.It's very weird to change what I've been doing all these yrs.Hopefully it will be a good change though.Can't wait to talk with some more ppl who know how I feel!

Hi Bilye and welcome! I'm pretty new to the forums as well. It has been a great place of information and support for me. I'm sure you'll find the same here.

I have been a T1 for almost 25 years and just 6 months ago switched from NPH and R to Lantus and Novolg. I have had great success with it. It does take time to get everything figured out though.

Best of luck to you and please don't hesitate to ask any questions that you might have. It is always nice to bounce things off of people who are in the same situation as you. You will find many knowledgeable and experienced people here.

Welcome :shakehand Glad you joined us... I, too, take novolog and Lantus. But I was started on it when dx. It's still a trial and error adjustments but as you know Diabetes is a day to day adjustment. Good Luck.
