Do you like the customer service?
Cozmo customer service gets an A+ in my book...Their pump, probably a C+.
Hi,
Could you, please, explain the C+ for the Cozmo pump.
We are currently shopping for a pump, and so for Cozmo
is leading (we currently have demo units from all 3 -
Minimed, Cozmo, and waiting to get one from Accu-Check
on Monday).

In 10 years, the worst thing they did to me was send a bill 2 years after a transaction. I made a lot of calls to get it cancelled because it was their error and I didn't owe them the hundreds of dollars that they tried billing me for.
Tech support is usually great. Never had trouble getting supplies with one phone call. Can't figure out why others have trouble with their supply orders. Oh, I did have some trouble with misc items being shipped wrong about 5 times, many years ago. not the sets or reservoirs--it was the IV3000 and skin prep that they would mess up the qtys. Lately, they have been flawless.

Exactly my complain Spike. Old bill took a long time to resolve. Other than that, I give them an A+

Why do you say that? (I'm Not trying to start an argument/war, just curious as to why you feel the way you do)?
I have had a Cozmore & Animas for a couple of years now, and more often than not, I wear my Cozmo. I've never had any problems with it, other than extremely minor stress fractures, and the company replaced my pump overnight. I also swam in pools, lakes and in the ocean, and the pump still works like a charm...I even swam while I had stress fractures on it (I know, crazy, lol), but it Never hindered the delivery or pump's functionality. That's my take on Cozmo, for what it's worth. I've owned pumps from Smiths Medical, Animas and MiniMed...

I also want to give props to Animas' customer service. I called them to order supplies recently (when their online store was down for updates), and they were cool about it, even though I ordered Cozmo reservoirs, lol. They offer one-stop shopping, as I like to call it, cause they have sets & reservoirs from almost every company!
Just wanted to give them credit where credit is due! :)

I believe the problem was the Medtronic buy out. Many complaints about bogus billing went on for over a year or two after MM was bought out.

I've called Minimed a bunch of times, mostly late 2005/early 2006, with infusion set problems (or serter problems). I spoke to only one woman who was not only not helpful, but was very rude & condescending. Everyone else I've spoken with have been great. That one woman was just that - one woman; not the whole company. I know some people will have one bad experience with their pump's customer service and immediatelt start badmouthing the whole operation.

Yes, but some people repeatedly get the rude techs or customer service reps. Hence their reasoning for developing a disdain for the company. Not all of us are going to have great service from Any of the companies. I've heard some who've experienceed issues with Animas and others who had trouble with Deltec/Smiths Medical...
When I was with MiniMed, I've had both good & bad service from them....but mind you, this was only After Alfred Mann left & Medtronic took over. When Alfred was there (prior to the merge), I had exceptional service & very minor pump issues (if any). Once Medtronic came along, I started having issues in multiple areas (billing, technical support, customer service). Not everyone experiences issues, but it can and does happen.
Like you said, one bad experience should not ruin it for the whole company, I agree wholeheartedly there....but I think those who've experienced multiple issues are entitled to voice dissatisfaction.

I'll start another thread about lest we hijack the Cyborg's thread here (I'll call it "Since you asked about my Cozmore"...

So far, 25% of MM owners are unhappy with customer service... :flute:
