Now I've expanded the selection of locations to go to with doing some research. Please choose places that you would be interested in ONLY if you would even attend. DO NOT vote if you have ZERO plans of even attending a gathering. Also, please visit the websites below before totally taking a place off your list. I know many might not have heard of Branson, MO, but from their website they have quite a bit to do.

Las Vegas, Nevada - Lots of gambling, shows, and fun for just about anyone. Not to mention some of the best spas in the country for anyone that wants to relaxe and not think about the big D for a few hours.

Walt Disney World, Florida - Where a kid can be a kid. We all love being kids right? Not to mention some people on here just refuse to grow up and stop being a kid. Main disadvantage is that park tickets are pretty expensive, however, they may have a discount buying say 100 day passes total or something.

St. Augstine, FL - Check out Dewey's link here for more info. http://www.diabetesforums.com/chit-chat/13187-diabetes-forum-gathering-4.html#post152582
and for the city's site...
St Augustine Florida Information - Welcome to OldCity.com (http://www.oldcity.com/)

Branson, MO - Numerous events to do for all ages from theme parks, to water parks, to dinner shows, and the new Titanic exhibit that has remodeled staterooms.
Branson.com : The Official Website (http://www.branson.com/)

St. Louis, MO - Named the freeist tourist place in the country next to Washington, D.C. Their zoo and science center are completely free and they have many other activities to do for all ages including gambling, sports, art performances. Also closer for those in the Midwest area making it cheaper for our numbers to attend since they could drive.
St. Louis, MO - The Official Travel Portal of St. Louis, Missouri (http://www.explorestlouis.com/)

Niagara Falls, NY - A location where both US and Canadians could meet. Not sure how many Canadians are close to Niagara Falls, but another great location for fun. And no, nobody is allowed to go over the falls in a barrel.

Also, like I said before, even if only a small number show up it would still be worth it. If we did this in numeous locations throughout the country, then I'd like someone to step up and plan one in their area. So there could be one large one, or maybe 3 smaller ones, it's really hard to say right now. Just trying to gain interest.

I voted NY originally, but I think somewhere near NYC... would be better- well, for me anyway ...

Ok, I know it's not only my opinion that matters, so hopefully we'll come up with a destination that works for everyone

It seems to me that each location has some fun things to do, so I can see people's difficulty in choosing. Some also are closer to certain areas than others, which would be easier for them to get to.

I voted for the top 3. For 2 of them, I can drive there and we can still have a big party at my place...
