Hi! my name is Spike :wavey: I'm new to this site and finally finding out how to work out a lot of all of this fourm stuff... I am a 13 year old and I was diganosed with Diebetes when I was ten. I am from California and I have two dogs and one fish and a brother.

Welcome to Diabetes Forums DesertCoyote93. There's lots of really nice people here to visit with about your Dainetes and how to control it.

Enjoy yourself here.

But, (sounding a lot like a teacher or parent) you really should be careful about how much personal information you reveal about yourself on any internet forum.

I know, I asked my parents if it was to much before I posted it and they said it was fine.

Spike's mom here, I did not know he was going to give out as much info as he did. Is there a way he can edit his posts?

As Penny said, we have another Spike here as well... He can be a bit ornery at times, but he's a loveable OLD man when you get to know him!

Welcome Spike(s).

Glad you are taking an interest in your condition. Hopefully you are willing to work at it. I was diagnosed at 14, and it was pretty rough to deal with at that age. Many kids choose not to learn and ignore it and get into trouble. Every one of us makes life and death decisions every day. The only thing we can do is keep learning how to do it better. Good job coming here. :congrats:
