Hi all,

My name is Kirsten and I'm new 'round here. I'm from Melbourne, Australia. I was diagnosed earlier this year at age 33 with LADA and am now on 5 injections per day (3 short-acting, 2 Lantus in a split dose) with pretty good control. I'm still in my honeymoon phase so on quite low doses of short-acting insulin, but am waiting with bated breath for that to change when the honeymoon is over. Looking forward to learning more about my "interesting condition" on these boards! :)

Welcome Kirsten -

We've got a few other people from Melbourne here. Plenty of new D's too (10 months ago myself) I've found this board to be the best people with the best information around.

Enjoy -
