I am suppossed to do 1 over my overnight basal test tonight. I had dinner at 6, as instructed by my CDE. I had boost so I knew exactly how many carbs i was getting, and took the appropriate bolus, plus corrected to land around 120.
At 9pm I went low (66). Since then i have taken several glucose tabs to bring my sugar up. I am suppossed to start my test at 10. Does this mean that my test is shot for tonight? Or if my sugars stay level between now and say 12, am I ok to continue the test?
I know that glucose tabs act fast. but does anyone know how long of a time period they can affect the BG?
