Allergies?

Can allergies affect bs? I've been running a little high this week, and I can't find any other reason for it. I'm not sick, just the usual sneezing and runny nose that I live with every spring and fall. It's particularly bad this year because our weather is yo-yoing between hot and cold every few days. The high Saturday was 59, today 85. I assume it's allergies...or just the weather.
Either way, can it affect me, or do I need to keep looking?

Everything affects your BG. Allergies, just like colds take their toll and you might find your body more resistant to insulin.

I find that the hot weather runs rampant on my BGs. I need excessive amounts of insulin just to compensate for the warmer weather. I think I have got used to the adjusting now ... but every now and then it just sneaks up on you and you are left bewildered as to the high BGs.:wavey:
