Medi-Jector Vision Needle-Free Insulin Injection System
Does anyone use this? I was looking for a new BG device since I flushed one down the toilet and then broke another and ran across this. It didn't give much info but thought someone may use it here and could explain it.
Thanks

Never heard of it, Belinda. Can you supply a link we can all have a look at?

Belinda,
My husband has used the MediJector for 14 years now and will never go back to needles. Currently he is using the Vision model and loves it. I remember when I bought him his first one for his 40th birthday. I painted a house that was two stories and had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and painted the entire interior for $1000....which was the cost of the MediJector. It was a big heavy (metal) thing but worked wonders and allowed him to inject more often (and more areas) for better control because the pain was so much less than a needle (altho there is still a bit of pain....but more like a quick pinch than the seemingly long drawn out pain of a needle). His Vision model is lightweight plastic and the cost is down to about $300 and well worth it even tho we had to pay the entire cost and needles were free.
The dosage is very precise which is also a great benefit.
He says he will never go back to needles thanks to this product. He (and I) recommend it highly. They have very good customer service if you have a question and are quick on any repairs if they are needed (none on the Vision...knock on wood).
A side benefit for the shy people...he doesn't feel at all conspicuous about taking a 'shot' in public with his MediJector whereas in the past he would 'hide out' to take a needle shot.
Good luck!

Belinda,
P.S. Here is the link to Mediject which has the Vision injector. Hope it helps.

I own tone of the dinosaurs. The older heavy metal device. I liked the idea. But it would sometimes not get all of the insulin inside me. I had a skin issue that made some injections not penetrate. Most of the time it worked great.
