Actoplus met is a combination of Actos and metformin and I'm not sure which of the drugs prompts the caution of using NSAIDS.

I had always used ibuprofen as my painkiller of choice for headaches, muscle pains, etc. but that is an NSAID and so now I don't want to use it.

Tylenol never seems to work for me so are there any other options? I don't normally have a need for painkillers but would like to know for when I do. Oh, and I suppose the same could be said for what to use as a fever reducer.

Thanks!

Opium works best. jk :D

Acetaminophen is the lightest on the system (though this can be relative) and is pretty decent at relieving sports injuries, or stressfull days.

Whats wrong with an NSAID for you?

There is apparently drug interaction with NSAIDS and Actoplus met.
