This company is hard to deal with. They want to sell you a Data Cable. I told them that Lifescan gives free cables away.

Lifescan is the place to get your meter if you want service.

At the cost of strips these meters should come with the hardware needed to use them.

FreeStyle gets an "F" for poor service.

This company name is ThermalSense.

So I would go to Lifescan and they will give you what you need.

Lifescan doesn't always give away data cables either. It's hit or miss, if you dont have a coupon stating such, wether you get a free data cable from either of them.

Lifescan doesn't give their cables away. Actually, Freestyle used to. I thought they still did, but maybe not anymore.

Ok, just angry I have deal with all this and then they want to make a mint from you and me.

I beleive when you get a meter in the box they should come with a cable to use it.

I called them back and complained when they sent me two bottles of control solution and not the cable.

Granted the FreeStyle Flash is a pretty good meter compared to others I have but TheraSense the company rhymes with NonSense pure and simple.

The cost of Test Strips is outrageous and reminds me of the Shysters who make cheap Inkjet printers like Lexmark and then charge you out the ying and the yang for ink.

I called Lifescan today right after speaking to NonSense I mean ThereSense and Lifescan rep asked me for my meter serial number and wanted to know the part number of the old fashion cable 9pin and when he returned to the line said we will ship you a new USB cable no questions asked. Granted testing 8 to 10 times a day might have prompted this nice service but I came away thinking wow I would purchase or use there products again.

Johnson and Johnson way to go you got my vote and also you do have the nicest meter I have used the UltraSmart. I wonder I'm being a jerk because of being low? Maybe a little honey and a good customer service would have got me up up a bit.

Bottom Line in my Play Book ThereSense is NonSense.

I agree. Forty dollars for a cable is ridiculous. It's no different than any other computer cable that sells for less than $5.

Yes I would spend $5.00 begrudgingly but would. Can anyone explain the need to get so much money out of test strips? Kinda reminds me of the Oil Companys and the Gas prices.

Plain old GOUGING every last one of these companies.
