Lately i have been feeling stressed out and have noticed my bloodsugars have gone up. This of course makes me more stressed and thus i am currently in a nice circle. My stress is coming from all sides, family, work, diabetes. and i don't know really how to clean it up right now. Is it normal to get higher bloodsugars when you are stressed? Or should i just increase my insulin because i find even when i do my insulin i am still high as if i didn't. i am getting a little frustrated and even more stressed about this.
Please if you have any info. let me know
thanx

For me stress is my biggie right now. And mine also comes from many directions. Yes, stress does cause your bs to do many strange things. Mine shoots up with the lest little stress. And here lately I haven't had any "little" stresses. I usely have to adjust my insulin to try to maintain my bs. It's very hard because how do you adjust to something you don't know how to adjust. Anyway, that's what I do along with trying to calm down. I know how frustrating it is.

The last few weeks, dealing with my husband's heart problems and family, I have been high everyday, nothing seems to change that. But I also noticed I have had more serious lows. This maybe from my efforts to control the highs.

Eri's stress sends her bg's through the roof. Then, when you would think she was getting TOO much insulin, it just brings her w/in "normal" range sometimes.

Stress will usually drive my sugars up too :argh:.... And then I get stressed out over that ., which only makes my blood sugar higher :motz:
