Based on the two type 2 diabetics I know personally, I doubt the coffee theory is true. They both drink at least 2 cups every morning, and one of them drinks coffee pretty much all day long. They still developed diabetes.

Finns drink on average 9 cups of coffee a day! Wow, what a great country!

I was drinking with some Finnish ****'s Angels last week on holiday in Estonia. They drank gallons of vodka and showed little inclination towards coffee.

These reserchers are having fun while we read this.
Just right before I had diabetes I'd drink nothing but coffee and tea all day long even I don't know how much..more than 10 cups a day. (course with a lots of sugar in it not knowing that I wass pissing it all over)
