I am considering trying a Gymnema and Chromimum set of supplements but I want to know where I can find them for the best price as well as which brand appears to be the best.

Also, I have seen Gymnema advertised by a %. Is 75% better than the 25%, and how do the two compare to each other? Say 100 MG at 25%, is 75% at 100MG equivalent to 300MG at 25%?

% values are usually given as daily, weekly, or monthly minimum or recommended values. Take them for what they are worth because whomever recomends this value varies.

IMO your better off eating lots of veggies that will give you the same thing and along with other nutrients that will help you process them. Seen something the other day in regards to type 2 diabetes and oral meds. "There is no oral medication that beats exercise." Exercise works around the clock by increasing muscle tone. It's the muscle tone you want because then the muscles are constantly using glucose to maintain tone. It only takes about three days without resistance exercise to start loosing muscle tone.

Thanks for the information. I did pickup some chromimum as it was a clearance item for 60 cents a bottle (gel tabs versus the normal tablet) so I figured it would be worth a try.

It won't hurt you, but it probably won't help anything either. Chromium has been studied repeatedly, and unless you were deficient to begin with, you'll see no benefit.

Of course, there is always the "placebo effect" which can't be discounted, either.

Also how about liver toxicity!!! Once you over dosed it's to late. If unless your deficient in Chromium I wouldn't take it
