Just in case you guys don't know....ALL buffets in Vegas have sugar free/no sugar added deserts in all manner and descriptions....some have more than the others but they all have them. There are VERY good, you can't tell the difference from the "regular" ones. Only place I can eat cheesecake...with the Bailey's.......lol

If you don't see them, ask...there are there somewhere.

Anyone have a list of buffets and which ones you think are best? Then also what their prices are for each meal?

Most of the larger hotels are pretty good. Dinner prices range from around $15-25, some have Special nights that might run a bit higher (Friday at RIO the seafood buffet is around $35), but still a much better deal than the "gourmet" places like Emeril's and Wolfgang Puck's. Breakfast is generally around $5 - 10 chaeper, Bellagio is know for it's breakfast at about $20. With the buffets, I hardly ever eat a real lunch...just some kind of snack.

There are a few other places, like the burger place near MGM...can't remember the name.....very good burgers but extremely greasy....well the are burgers...

Oh, buffets in Vegas are not like the Golden Corral......these are like self serve 3-4 star restaraunts.......prime rib...crab legs....shrimp, and side dishes galore. Each is know for it's specialities. Try as many different ones as you can.

Jedi the only thing I would recommend is on the first day we all meet up I think it should be a sit down dinner rather then a buffet. Just because we are going to be talking and well we can't really talk if everyone keeps getting up and down. After that people are free to do as they please. Just a suggestion.

Can't think of a sit down place that is big enough or has enough light.....most of them are up-scale yuppie gourmet places and not all that big. I am going to Vegas between Christmas and New Year's, I will look around and try to find some place that we would not have to eat by pump lights.....lol

Buffets can handle bus loads at a time, they do most of the bus tours that go through Vegas.
