I've gone three full days without going Hypo....for me that's a personal record. Of course I've had to let myself run slightly higher than I usually do, but I guess for a few days I won't get any serious complications.

Just had to share this moment.

nice one! I remember when i was on Mixtard and was having 2 or 3 hypo's a day, even 1 or 2 days without a hypo felt like a blessing!

Good work Injecto!! Hope you're feeling good about it all.

Just a question from a concerned citizen though... how high are we talking when you say you are running higher than usual??

Well, I try to keep myself pretty tight (but that may cause some of my "over anxiety"), usually my before meals are between 4 to 5.9. So, right now my before meals are between 5.2 and 7.1 with most in the high 6s. And I have a policy (suggested by my diabetic nurse) to temporarily STOP checking the two hours after meals, just to calm down a bit. Not sure if it's totally working, but I do feel good about it so far (for now).

If your bgs are still that great before meals, and thats running a little higher than normal, I say good work!! Keep it up as well as you can, especially if it's making you feel good!!!! :D

IMO, I'd make sure that the post-meal test halt really IS temporary... it's still an important test to do, but calming down a bit is definitely a good move :) :) :)

Thanks, and I agree it is important. It is temporary. It's just that at the moment the Anxiety is more likely to kill me then the post meal test. Thanks again for your care :)
