Well Oradev, I'm unique. I have to take Lantus 2x/day because it starts to drop off after around 12 hours. I take 2 units of NPH at bedtime which helps to get my fasting b/s down to where it should be. For some reason just the Lantus was landing me in the 200's on a regular basis, and no, I didn't have dawn phenom, because I got up frequently and ck'd. Aren't I lucky?

Humalog & Humulin U. 1:18 (dinner) - 1:22 (breakfast & lunch) ratios. 18 units of U... 10 AM and 8 PM.

Lantus currently 55 units in the morning plus 4 -14 units of Novalog per scale (usually 4 or 6).
