I've read about this gadget called Track3 which enables people to input info about food eaten, exercise taken, doses and timings of medications, insulin, blood sugar levels, nutritional information for 35,000 foods. All this can be downloaded to PC.I'm anxious to know if anyone has used it or know someone who has and give feedback.

I know there was a PDA, or Personal Digital Assistant(?), which stored that information. It also used Freestyle strips to check your blood sugar. I wanted one VERY badly but it seems like they were around $250. It seems they are no longer made but I might be wrong about that.

Yes, you're talking about the Freestyle Tracker. It ran on a Handspring PDA as a module. The problem was that Handspring went out of business, and so Therasense (before Abbott assimilated them) purchased as many of the remaining new Handspring PDA's from the company that were available.

The problem was that people were dropping their PDA's. They used to sell used on eBay for a pretty high price -- some people were even selling just the meter Handspring modules on their own.

Seems like they totally phased out of existance overnight, though. Sort of like the Vaculance glucose meter (you know, the one that claimed to lance, suck blood, and test, all from one button push!).
