OK i just search it. You are in the UK, did you get it on the NHS? or did you buy it? How did you go about getting one?

Wowzas.... remember when this product came out and everyone was following every word about it?
They sure haven't been advertising very well -- I think the publicity for it has quieted down quite a bit.

They never really did market the Guardian RT. They swear by the Paradigm Real Time pump though. Just kinda odd that they only hit the pump market strong and don't care about the MDI market.

I have a guardian RT. When it first came out in the US it was only able to be prescribed by doctors in a few cities. Living around Philadelphia and wanting the latest thing I flew to Austin texas n got one prescribed to me. If I had known that MiniMed would release a pump with the CGM built into it only a few months later I might have held off as I have that pump now lol oh well. That being said the Guardian is not 100% accurate but I really like it. Reminded me of the new sense of freedom I got when I first used the pump and didn't have to reach for a needle. Sometimes depending on the sensor set the results are close to fingersticks other times they are not so accurate so I just use another sensor if they are consistently bad. Even if the thing just said high or low I think it would be worth it. Must be calibrated with finger sticks but that is no problem. It is useful to be able to see the direction the sugar is going (rising or falling). A huge benefit of it is being able to automatically record bloodsugar data to see trends. Its relaxing to be able to look at the screen and see whats going on. Just my 2 cents

I had to go to Austin Texas to get mine from a doctor there because they only released it in a few cities. Pretty close to the meter now or last night lol been up late.
