Hi, my name is Clarke Jones. I am 29 y/o male from London, England. I have been recently been diagnosed with Diabetes, and although i am coping fine with the diagnosis - i am finding the diet a bit daunting as i have always taken my food/drink input for granted!

Hi Clarkey! When I was diagnosed I didn't know ANYTHING about diabetes - except the part about having to use needles! I started laughing when the doctor in the ER said that I'd have to learn how to give myself needles - I thought that he must've been joking! He wasn't. Then I read about all the bad things that can happen to a diabetic and I thought that the complications were inevitable - but I was wrong about that too! I'm glad that you're taking your diagnosis well because that sure makes things easier!Welcome!
