Introducing myself

Hello All

New on here today so thought I should introduce myself.

I'm Amy, aged 23 and have type 1 (diagnosed at the age of 21).

I've not had the best control but have really improved over the last few months, my next a1c is on Feb 6th so fingers crossed until then!

Hi Amy! Hang on there - I suggest that you consider going on a pump. I have been diabetic for 36 years and started out with glass syringes and stainless needles which had to be sterilized every day. Thank God that diabetes care has come such a long way!!! Since I have been a pumper (now four years) my control is really good. My A1C's run between 5.8 and 6.4. I have blood work every 3 months like clockwork. So, I strongly reccommend a pump. Let me know how it goes.
