Hey Cheryl, you aren't alone... I've been know to rant about my Diabetes in the past .. But saying that, I think that's ok- this disease can be exhausting and draining and sometimes it's good to let go and get out the aggravation we feel :argh:.
Also, what seems to help me is support- this forum is AWESOME for that! I hope it will help you as much as it has me.
Take care :ciao:

Welcome Cheryl! You've found a great place for information and support. Feel free to "rant away" at any time...we take turns, as who knows what would happen should we all rant at the same time!:motz: Hope you find the support here as invaluable as I have.

Hi Cheryl:
There are a few Tennessee folks on the forum. Funny how you come east for your weekends...we go to Chattanooga or Nashville for ours, esp. on football weekends! We can hardly even get to Gatlinburg from all the tourists (just kidding, though it is REALLY crowded anymore). Can't be all the shopping there!

Hi Cheryl, welcome to the forums. I sooo understand your frustration. I was diagnosed with type one two years after my fifth child was born. The balancing act of feeding growing, active kids and managing my diabetes was a bit overwhelming.
You will find lots of support on this board. Rant if you want. We all do it. But when you are done, go back and take control of the (kids) hehehe and diabetes. You will teach your kids great eating habits in the process.
Welcome!!!!!

Hi Cheryl, welcome to the forums. Yeah, as everyone else said, it's a great place for fun, info, and even ranting. The only thing about the ranting is that you'll have to fight hard to get your rant in flirst, he!he! Great people here. Enjoy

Welcome.
Sorry we didn't greet you properly in chat last night. We were all having denial anxiety, which I see you are familiar with.

Thanks you guys again, I have been so busy that i haven't had time to post or look at things Clean house every Friday and always go hype:confused: so you know didn't go over 74 all day crazy till at night then I had to beat the high which i did woo-hoo first time i ate sonic and was 98 two hours later i was jumping off the walls :trytofly: if you understood you'd know why this is important to me.....I am scared to take anymore than 6 units of insulin long long story so I actually do need 6 for sonic but it always seems like i might just need one more unit, you know fast food is always never the correct amount of carbs no matter how you try so I bravely did 7 units only 1 hr after a correction of 1.5 units cause i was angry and didn't pay attention and drank the coke i had sipped on prior for a hypo which was 52 so i never threw it away and was argueing and my mouth was a watering and just grabbed my coke and chugged it oops so i had to correct cause it went up to 170 and i was so mad so i corrected then was freakin out about the bolus but i did it anyway and was fine :five: so anyway just thought i'd share....
and i am so not mad about chat wasn't sure what to say anyway was so mad that night at hubby so didn't want to say hi and start complaining lol
