Does anyone have info on the action profile of Novorapid? I know it may be different for different people, but roughly, how much is used per hour (does the body use up the same amount/hour?)etc...
What I think I know: Lasts about 4-5 hours, and peaks around 1-2 hours.

Personally, I am wondering if maybe Novolog completes its action for me at about 3 to 3.5 hours after injection...

I used to go by the 30, 60, 90 rule.
at 1hr: 30% used, 70% remaining
at 2hr: 60% used, 40% remaining
At 3hr: 90% used, 10% remaining

You may find this chart useful when looking at the action profiles of different insulins:

This was originally published as a correction to the charts they had in their magazine. I find it oversimplifies the action profiles a little, but it is still an excellent and easy to use resource.
BTW...this is my first post!:)
