Lyme Disease

I am a type one diabetic and have been for about 12 years. I was recently diagnosed with lyme disease, and I was wondering if anyone else has delt with the two diseases before. Is there anything I should be aware of? I am in tight control with my diabetes. I have a 6.0 a1c and I am on the cozmo pump. Of course I know when we are sick we have to be more careful, but I am just curious in other peoples stories who have delt with this. :hmmmm2:

Out of curiosity, how long did it take before you were diagnosed? (Did you have the symptom of a ring on the skin, or did you finally find out upon months of trying to figure out why your muscles were sore?)

it took about four months to diagnose me with it. I kept getting really sick with high fevers and I kept getting hospitalized. So they just kept doing all kinds of test and thats what they found. I have muslce aches joint pain and I did have a rash.
