New Cosmo Online Test

The Cosmo website says to register and once your pump and Cozmonitor are ready, you will be notified to take an "online test". Once you past the test, your new pump and Cozmonitor will be mailed to you. Then you return your old one.

I called in December and early January registered online but still have not heard from Smith-Medical. Has anyone received notice to take the test? Has anyone received the new pump and returned the old one?

I'm curious as to how long this process might take...

I registered, but I haven't received the notification e-mail, not even an acknowledgement.

I thought I heard somewhere they weren't sending out the email till the end of January. I'm not 100% sure on that, but I believe that's what I heard.

I've dreampt about the upgrade on 2 occassions now. Am I obsessed, or what?

Last I heard from my rep was that the emails will start going out around the end of January and continue through March. The order you were placed on the various lists determines when you will receive the email. (There are a few lists, one from phone calls, one from web site registrations, one from mail-in cards, etc.)

I'm hoping I was one of the first on whichever list!!! LOL

A representative from Smith-Medical told me today that it will be two to three months before they begin sending out the new pumps. All she would say is that they will notify us when we can take the on-line test. Since I will be ordering the Inset infusion sets and Cosmo cartridges from Animas, I had to call to cancel my prescription and all future supplies shipments. She said that my warranty would still be good for four years even if I was buying supplies elsewhere.

If you could keep us informed of when the online test will be available, that would be great. I haven't yet received an e-mail (may have deleted it by accident, but can't remember if I did), but I will be attending the ADA Expo in the beginning of February. Maybe I can find out more then, also...:)
