:congrats: :congrats: :congrats: WOW...what can I say?

Before registering I browsed around the forum for about an hour (only have seen the tip of the iceberg) and am amazed! A Mother Load of information and people ready and willing to lend help.

I've been to alot of diabetes forums and didn't bother about registering because they're pretty much all the same, with this one being the exception. I'm now sure this is the only one I need to be a member of.

I'm an American living in Europe (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) since I left the service in 1983, married with 4 kid's (three son's, 1 beautiful daughter).

Type2, diag on 2nd January, 2000 (what a way to start a new year, huh?), insuline (HumologMix 25 - 12 unit's/8 unit's respectively) and med (2x daily 2mg Amaryl/Glimeperide) dependent and busting my chops daily trying to get and keep this monster under control and make sense of it all. That's where, after reading around in here a bit, that I'm sure this forum will be of great assistance.

I don't know, as yet, if I can be of much help in here, but feel free to call on me at anytime for anything at all and I'll try my best. That's all I can do.

Enough for now...gotta get back into the forum and read, read and read some more.
