So I keep a vial of Symlin at work in a refrigerator in my office. This way I don't have to worry about carting the stuff around.
But.
Apparently Symlin doesn't last anyway. The vial at work only gets use five or so times per week, plus with the recent Christmas break it sat for a bit.
After the new year and back to work, I kept on using it. And it looks fine.
But this past week or so I began noticing bruises. All on my belly. Thing about my belly is the only time I inject there is Symlin. At work. Otherwise I use my back side when at home.
So I am guessing the Symlin at the office went bad, probably because it takes a lot longer to use up a vial. I sure wish there was some way to know when this stuff needs tossing without hurting oneself. Who knows what I have been doing to myself this past week. Argh.
