Hello everyone

Female, late 50's here with Type 2 DM, just started on oral meds, Metformin. Hope to meet other diabetics and share information. I was diagnosid in 2004, but probably had diabetes for a while because I already have neuropathy in my feet. No history in my family, except my dad who developed Adult Onset at age 90. So I say why me? with 3 brothers and 2 sisters, all non diabetic. I hope to gain knowledge on this site. Thanks

Welcome aboard. Always keep in mind that having D is not the end of life as we know it. Just makes it a bit more of a problem.
