really worried

my girlfriend is diabetic and i found this forum some time ago when i was looking for infromation about it again and well now theres something im really worried about and well i couldnt find anywhere what it might be...

my girlfriend started her period 2 days ago and well it has been awful and today she had puked because it hurt so bad and she felt so horrible and she told me that she had had blood clots in the puke. she promised to go see a doctor tomorrow but well im really worried that something can be really wrong with her :( right now she is feeling much better actually got hungry...

Sorry if I sound so invasive, but I have a couple of questions. Have her sugars been elevated over the past couple of days (does she keep a good check on them)? Has she ever had severe cramps or pains from periods in the past (to the point of throwing up & having diarrhea)? Has she ever had an ulcer or anything else underlying that might have caused this?

I used to suffer from severe dysmenorrhea (menstrual pains which can cause nausea, severe cramps, vomiting & diarrhea), but Never threw up blood. This is of great concern and I think she should be checked if you can get her in somewhere!

no she hasnt puked before because of cramps but she has felt like she is going to puke before:( she has never had it like this before

she has never mentioned having an ulcer or anything as bad as that...
this one girl in my class had her grandmother if i remember it right die from stomach cancer and she had puked blood...

she is going to checked for that and she thought about it too herself

she is going to go on the pill after she stops bleeding so is that going to make it any less painful for her or is that just a legend?

another thing that worries me is her eyes... she says that everything further than 5m is blurry and about a week or 2 ago she had really blurry vision and floating spots... but she had used this one insulin for a few weeks and she explained to me that she had 2 different kinds of it (didnt understand that) and that she had only been using one for a while and when she used the other it fixed itself. what worries me is that she hasnt had her eyes checked for 3 years because her parents find it too expensive and unnessecary

i dont know about her blood sugar for the last 2 days but i known that it isnt too stable... there have been times when she told me that it got so low that she couldnt move because it hurt so bad and sat in one place untill his brother got some junk food for her from the store... and she confesses to me time to time that her blood sugar has got too high because she ate too much chocolate (her big weakness)

also any advice on how i should act with her and maybe something i should know that i might allready not know?
