I just noticed this. If you program a combination bolus, and while the immediate portion is delivering, cancel the the bolus, the extended bolus portion still delivers. You have to cancel it from the "stop delivery" screen. Not sure if they fixed this in the 1800, but seems stupid to me.

That's how it is supposed to work. Because you can then just modify/add to the the immediate portion by using a regular bolus and not have to mess with the extended portion (because that's already set). But if you screwed up the whole thing and want to start from scratch, I suppose that's a valid annoyance.

I programmed it, then didn't eat afterall, and figured that by hitting "cancel" I was good to go. Luckily, I was't sure, so I checked screen #1, and sure enough. I'm just glad I checked, but I guess I can see why that way would be useful too. I just wish my trainer or something would have mentioned it. Maybe when you cancel a combo there should be a screen in there that says something to this effect.

Ah. You're one of those folks that boluses before eating!!

I tend to bolus sometime after the first bite.
